Project activities include:
Installing approximately 150 miles of fiber-optic infrastructure throughout the California side of the Colorado River Indian Tribal Reservation; and
Providing reliable, high-speed broadband service to approximately 1,700 Tribal households, 20 businesses, and 5 Community Anchor Institutions.
This project will:
- Deliver high-speed broadband service offering up to 1 Gbps symmetric speeds for residential customers;
- Deploy a Tribally owned, operated, and sustainably managed broadband network; and
- Support economic development, expand access to telehealth services, and improve emergency response capabilities for Tribal members.
The Colorado River Indian Tribes will deploy fiber-to-the-premise service to approximately 1,700 households, 20 businesses, and 5 Community Anchor Institutions on or near Tribal lands.
