Overview
The Broadband Infrastructure Program is a $288 million broadband deployment program directed to partnerships between a state, or one or more political subdivisions of a state, and providers of fixed broadband service to support broadband infrastructure deployment to areas lacking broadband, especially rural areas.

Every State and Territory is Ready to Implement Internet for All
NTIA has reached a major milestone on the road to connecting everyone in America to affordable, reliable high-speed Internet service. As of today, all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the five territories participating in the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program have approved Internet for All plans.
These plans outline how each state and territory will connect every one of their residents to the Internet.

The Broadband Infrastructure Program (BIP) is a $288M broadband deployment program for grantees who have formed partnerships between a state, or one or more political subdivisions of a state, and providers of fixed broadband service to support infrastructure deployment to areas lacking broadband, especially rural areas. The program launched in 2022 when NTIA made its first awards for the program and almost 2 years in, grantees have lessons to share and stories to tell.
