Project activities include:
Installing approximately 48 miles of underground and aerial middle-mile and last-mile fiber infrastructure; and
Providing reliable, high-speed broadband service to approximately 30 Tribal households and 10 Community Anchor Institutions.
This project will:
- Deliver high-speed broadband service offering up to 1 Gbps symmetric speeds for residential customers;
- Extend broadband availability to approximately 268 non-Tribal unserved households near the City of Siletz, Oregon;
- Deploy a Tribally owned, operated, and sustainably managed broadband network; and
- Support economic development, expand access to telehealth services, and improve emergency response capabilities for Tribal members.
The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians will extend fiber service to approximately 30 Tribal households and 10 Community Anchor Institutions and make broadband service available to roughly 268 additional non-Tribal unserved households.
