Project activities include:
Installing approximately 99 miles of middle-mile and last-mile fiber infrastructure;
Deploying approximately 10 wireless towers to provide 5G fixed wireless connectivity to areas that are inaccessible by fiber; and
Providing reliable, high-speed broadband service to approximately 470 Tribal households, 22 businesses, and 61 Community Anchor Institutions.
This project will:
- Deliver high-speed fiber broadband offering up to 1 Gbps symmetric speeds for residential customers;
- Deliver high-speed fixed wireless broadband offering speeds of up to 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload for residential customers; and
- Support economic development, strengthen government services, expand educational opportunities, and increase access to telehealth services for Tribal members.
The Fort Belknap Indian Community will deploy a combination of fiber and fixed wireless service to approximately 470 Tribal households, 22 businesses, and 61 Community Anchor Institutions.
