This Use and Adoption project will improve broadband access for Dry Creek Rancheria members by providing financial assistance for broadband services, establishing digital skill training, and expanding the Gila River Indian Community Fiber Optic Construction Apprenticeship Program.

Project activities include:
Providing financial assistance for monthly service fees for a period of 12 months for more than 2,600 households;
Offer broadband use and adoption training, technology guidance, and free Wi-Fi access to community members through the District Service Center; and
Expanding the Fiber Optic Construction Apprenticeship Program for 4 additional apprentices.
This project will:
- Provide Tribal members with access to qualifying broadband services; and
- Enable community members to have access to broadband services and training through anchor institutions; and
- Increase Tribal capacity to effectively manage, operate, and sustain its own broadband network.
The Gila River Indian Community will provide financial assistance for monthly broadband service fees for more than 2,600 households for 12 months, offer digital skills training and public Wi-Fi access at District Service Centers, and expand the Fiber Optic Construction Apprenticeship Program.
