Project Purpose/Type:
This Broadband Use and Adoption project will provide minimal upgrades to network and customer equipment in addition to providing Native households with three years of subsidies service.

Project activities include:
- Upgrades to backhaul radio equipment to adequately handle increased capacity from Juneau to the Downtown Hoonah Distribution tower.
- Install new customer premise equipment and upgrade existing customer premise equipment.
- Prepay three-years of high-speed internet service to Native households.
The project outcomes will result in Native homes having access to 100 Mbps x 20 Mbps service.
This project will benefit 400 Tribal member households.
