Project activities include:
Installing approximately 11 miles of middle-mile and last-mile fiber infrastructure;
Deploying approximately 2 new monopole towers to provide fixed wireless connectivity in areas inaccessible by fiber; and
Providing reliable, high-speed broadband service to approximately 250 Tribal households, 17 businesses, and 15 Community Anchor Institutions.
This project will:
- Deliver high-speed fiber broadband offering up to 1 Gbps symmetric speeds for residential customers;
- Deliver high-speed fixed wireless broadband offering speeds of up to 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload for residential customers; and
- Enhance access to telehealth, distance learning, and telework opportunities, supporting economic growth and overall community vitality for Tribal members.
The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe will deliver fiber and fixed wireless service to approximately 250 Tribal households, 17 businesses, and 15 Community Anchor Institutions.
