Project activities include:
Installing approximately 20 miles of middle-mile and last-mile fiber infrastructure; and
Providing reliable, high-speed broadband service to approximately 160 Tribal households, 12 businesses, and 2 Community Anchor Institutions.
This project will:
- Deliver high-speed fiber broadband offering up to 1 Gbps symmetric speeds for residential customers;
- Help close the existing connectivity gap by expanding access to affordable broadband service for Tribal members; and
- Improve access to telehealth, distance learning, and telework opportunities.
The Makah Indian Tribe will provide fiber-to-the-premise service to approximately 160 Tribal households, 12 businesses, and 2 Community Anchor Institutions.
