Project activities include:
Installing approximately 102 miles of middle-mile and last-mile fiber infrastructure;
Providing reliable, high-speed broadband service to approximately 560 Tribal households, 30 businesses, and 8 Community Anchor Institutions; and
Establishing a workforce development program tailored to network management and fiber maintenance to build local technical capacity.
This project will:
- Deliver high-speed fiber broadband offering up to 1 Gbps symmetric speeds for residential customers;
- Strengthen the Tribal workforce by building key technology and telecommunications skills; and
- Expand access to affordable, reliable, and future-proof broadband service for Tribal members.
The Oneida Nation will deliver fiber-to-the-premise service to approximately 560 Tribal households, 30 businesses, and 8 Community Anchor Institutions.
