Project activities include:
Providing financial assistance for monthly service fees for a period of 48 months for more than 650 households; and
Providing in-home training on how to use high-speed internet and access relevant services including remote education, remote work, government services, and telehealth/telemedicine.
This project will:
- Provide Tribal members with access to qualifying broadband services; and
- Improve the quality of life, spur economic development and commercial activity, create opportunities for remote employment, online entrepreneurship, distance learning, and telehealth for Tribal members.
The Pueblo of Jemez will provide financial assistance for monthly broadband service fees for more than 650 households for 48 months and deliver in-home training on how to use high-speed internet and access remote education, work, government services, and telehealth.
