Project activities include:
Installing approximately 19 miles of middle-mile and last-mile fiber infrastructure;
Deploying two wireless towers to provide fixed wireless connectivity in areas inaccessible by fiber;
Providing reliable, high-speed broadband service to approximately 550 Tribal households and 2 Community Anchor Institutions; and
Establishing a workforce development program tailored to network management and fiber maintenance to build long-term technical capacity within the Pueblo.
This project will:
- Deliver high-speed broadband service offering up to 1 Gbps symmetric speeds for residential customers;
- Create three permanent Tribal jobs in broadband network construction and operations; and
- Improve access to quality, reliable internet services for Pueblo households while deploying future-proof infrastructure to support long-term community needs.
The Pueblo of San Felipe will extend fiber-to-the-premise and fixed wireless service to approximately 550 Tribal households and 2 Community Anchor Institutions.
