The Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project proposes to install fiber to directly connect 705 unserved Native American households, 18 unserved Native American businesses, and 4 Native American community anchor institutions with fiber-to-the-home 940 Mbps/30 Mbps service.

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to, and use of, broadband services among Tribal members:
- Deploy a last-mile fiber network to provide qualifying service of up to 1000/300 Mbps to all tribal households within the Red Cliff Reservation and adjacent Town of Russell and Belanger Settlement;
- Install 6 miles of fiber cable to connect two existing end points of cable previously laid to all tribal buildings.
This project will:
- Expand Red Cliff Band members’ access to essential communications and services related to healthcare, public safety, emergency management, education, workforce development, and entrepreneurship.
- Improve the economic and civil life of tribal members living on and adjacent to the Red Cliff Reservation.
The project intends to benefit 705 unserved Native American households, 18 unserved Native American businesses, and 4 Native American community anchor institutions within the Red Cliff Reservation and adjacent Town of Russell and Belanger Settlement, Tribal members who use the community anchor institutions, and visitors to Red Cliff lands.
