Project activities include:
Installing approximately 79 miles of middle-mile and last-mile fiber infrastructure;
Providing reliable, high-speed broadband service to approximately 500 Tribal households; and
Training Tribal members to support long-term network operations and sustain the service as responsibilities transition from the local provider.
This project will:
- Deliver high-speed fiber broadband offering up to 1 Gbps symmetric speeds for residential customers; and
- Establish a sustainable, reservation-wide high-speed internet system that supports the long-term connectivity needs of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation.
The Shoshone-Paiute Tribes will provide fiber-to-the-premise service to approximately 500 Tribal households.
