Project Purpose/Type:
The Planning, Engineering, Feasibility, and Sustainability project will focus on the pre-construction planning of an FTTH network and will include an environmental/cultural resources assessment, design and engineering, and purchase of fiber equipment. The project intends to benefit 30 Tribal households, Tribal governmental offices, and anchor institutions on the Rancheria with future broadband deployment of speeds that at least meet the minimum requirements of 25/3 Mbps.

Project activities in support of the planning study include:
- Conduct environmental and cultural resources assessments.
- Engage in design, engineering, mapping, and planning of a broadband network.
- Procure fiber equipment including fiber optic cable, fiber optic termination, fiber optic cleaning and honing kits, proper cable management, and proper conduit for cable protection.
- Design and survey the optimal location for a fiber optic Data Center.
A “shovel-ready” project designed and vetted for future Broadband Infrastructure Deployment to support Table Mountain Rancheria.
The project intends to benefit 30 households located on Table Mountain Rancheria, Tribal government offices (including a school and day care center, a medical facility, church community center, and museum complex), economic development (including a gaming complex, golf course, restaurants, and a hotel), and Tribal utility buildings (including the wastewater treatment plant and surface water treatment plant).
