Project Purpose/Type:
This Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project proposes to build a RAN network incorporating 5 leased and owned tower sites covering 159 unserved locations. Through 2.5 GHz wireless spectrum, the Tribe will increase its members’ ability to access educational and workforce development opportunities, in addition to expanding digital inclusion efforts.

Project activities include:
- Purchase fiber and installation equipment to establish network and connect wireless towers.
- Purchase equipment that will establish last mile connection to unserved households.
This project will ensure the availability of internet service through the project area with at least 25/3 broadband speeds and less than 100 millisecond latency.
This project benefits 242 Native American households, businesses, and anchor institutions. Tribal households are estimated to have 38% of residents living below the poverty line.
