Project Purpose/Type:
The Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project proposes to install wireless LTE services directly connecting 455 unserved Native American households and about 30 anchor institutions, such as the library, youth programs, and health programs, with qualifying wireless broadband service up to 400/100 Mbps.

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to, and use of, broadband services among Tribal members:
- Replace old end-of-life technologies that are not Internet compatible.
- Expand LTE networks.
- Replace outdated technologies and network in the Tribal Office.
- Install FCC-compliant new steel towers, adding more access points expanding the network.
This project will:
- Provide dependable, affordable cable and/or wireless options to Tribal members.
- Increase communications and opportunities for collaboration and support among Tribal residents, employees, programs, businesses, and outside entities.
- Make telehealth, economic development opportunities, education, and modern agricultural methods more accessible.
The project intends to benefit Tribal members, students, adult learners, business owners, and community services.
