The Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project proposes to install fiber directly connecting 1,730 unserved Native American households with qualifying broadband service of 10 Gbps symmetrical speeds.

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to, and use of, broadband services among Tribal members:
- Construct 60 miles of broadband middle mile transport connecting Tribal members with high-speed Internet.
- Build a new network operations center.
- Connect Tribal households with FTTP providing qualifying broadband speeds.
- Deliver 10 Gbps symmetrical speeds to each Tribal household.
This project will:
- Provide Tribal residents with high-speed, affordable, and reliable Internet service.
- Increase telehealth options.
- Improve the overall quality of life for Tribal members.
- Provide more opportunities to engage with Tribal government.
- Develop 7 new jobs to support the added infrastructure.
- Expand remote educational opportunities.
- Improve public safety response times and public works monitoring (e.g., water systems) in 10 proposed service areas.
- Open new avenues for economic development.
The project intends to benefit: Tribal residents, first responders, health care providers and their patients, employers, employees, educators, adult learners, and K-12+ students.
