Project Purpose/Type:
The Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project proposes to install fiber and an LTE network directly connecting 1,526 unserved Native American households with fiber-to-the-home and/or fixed wireless to the home 602 Mbps/102 Mbps.

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to, and use of, broadband services among Tribal members:
- Tribal residents will be connected to affordable Internet services via wireless technologies.
- The tribal government administration and programs will be connected to the Internet via fiber optic technologies.
This project will:
- Connect all tribal members, residents, tribal government administration, and tribal programs to reliable, high speed, low latency Internet services in a secure, maintainable, and scalable way.
- Provide affordable Internet access to tribal members.
- Provide Internet access to tribal members located in sparsely populated rural areas.
The project intends to benefit 3,022 Tribal households, 16 Tribal businesses, and 78 Tribal anchor institutions located on the Rosebud Indian Reservation and on off-reservation Tribal trust land.
