The Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project proposes to install fiber and wireless directly connecting 726 unserved Tribal households, 3 unserved Tribal businesses, and 7 unserved Tribal community anchor institutions with 1 Gbps/10 Gbps qualified broadband service.

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to, and use of, broadband services among Tribal members:
- Add 22 miles of fiber from the 101 Freeway to the Covelo area.
- Provide wireless service to 726 unserved Tribal households with a range of 1Gbps-10Gbps (60GHz/80GHz) to 25Mbps/3Mbps (5GHz).
- Provide fiber service to 3 unserved Tribal businesses and 7 unserved Tribal community anchor institutions.
- Install fiber to 3 existing and 3 new tower sites.
- Create 34 jobs.
- Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) training courses for 2 Technicians.
This project will:
- Connect Tribal members and Tribal government services to reliable and affordable Internet services.
- Provide opportunities to participate in cultural, societal, and economic activities.
- Enhance access to safety/emergency, healthcare, education, and other important services.
The project intends to benefit unserved Tribal households, Tribal businesses, and Tribal community anchor institutions, including Tribal administration building.
