This Broadband Use and Adoption project will equip 6 community centers/business incubators with computer stations and online training courses for the approximately 3,343 White Earth Tribal Members.

- There will be 6 community centers and/or business incubators, which are White Earth Headquarters, Rice Lake, Naytahwaush, Pine Point, Drum Center, and Congregate Housing (senior facility).
- Computer stations will be set up at these 6 locations. Wireless access points will be set up to connect computer stations and allow community members to access the internet from the parking lots when centers are closed.
- Technical support will be provided by Aquila Cubed Consulting, LLC (Aquila3), the Tribe’s technology partner.
- Online training courses will be made available at the various locations to improve computer literacy for Tribal members. (Available coursework will be from very basic beginning courses to advanced coursework and will be available on demand as needed.)
- Six new community centers/and or business incubators for access by Tribal members.
- Online training courses available at six locations to improve computer literacy for Tribal members.
- Access for all Tribal members to computers and internet.
- Increased Tribal computer literacy.
- A bridge of computer and internet access until the Tribe’s full Broadband Buildout can be funded and implemented.
There are approximately 1,194 Tribal households, and census data shows there are approximately 2.8 people per household. Approximately 3,3343 Tribal members will have access to computers and the internet through project funding.
