Project Purpose/Type:
This Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project will build out and upgrade broadband services for last mile users and anchor institutions utilizing 2.5 GHz wireless service.

Project activities include:
- Implement functional backhaul supporting last mile connectivity.
- Construct new fiber for tower connecting the Hydro Community.
- Expand or replace existing infrastructure/equipment to meet minimum 25/3 speeds.
- Provide training for Tribal members on system basics during installation.
- Work with Tribal entities for subscriber installations.
- Partner with existing ISPs for network sustainability/maintenance (not duplicate service to homes).
The project outcome will provide new service or upgrade existing service for Tribal households and community anchor institutions.
This project will benefit approximately 1060 Tribal members and anchor institutions within the proposed service area, 324 of which live below the 150% federal poverty line.
