Project activities include:
Providing financial assistance for monthly service fees for a period of 36 months end for approximately 100 households and 5 Community Anchor Institutions;
Providing 100 end-user devices to Tribal community members;
Creating an Information Technology development program; and
Enhancing government services to Tribal members including tele-education resources, broadband use and adoption programs, and establishing a community e-learning center and computer lab.
This project will:
- Provide Tribal members with access to qualifying broadband services; and
- Empower Tribal citizens and community with the requisite devices and skills to effective leverage broadband access.
The Yakutat Tlingit Tribe will provide financial assistance for broadband service fees for approximately 100 households and 5 Community Anchor Institutions for 36 months, distribute 100 end-user devices, create an IT development program, and expand government digital services including tele-education, broadband use and adoption, and an e-learning center.
