Nevada Broadband Workshop September 27, 2019

NTIA's BroadbandUSA Program hosted a broadband workshop in Reno, Nevada on Friday, September 27, 2019. The purpose of the workshop was to engage the public and stakeholders with information to accelerate broadband connectivity, improve digital inclusion, and support local priorities. The workshop provided information on topics including local broadband planning, funding, and engagement with service providers.

Thank you. It’s great to be here and see such widespread commitment to the United States winning the race to 5G. As you’ve no doubt heard today, 5G and the technologies it will enable promise transformative changes that will improve health care, advance manufacturing and benefit public safety.
