The Native Entities Grant Program (NEGP), for entities including Indian Tribes, Alaska Native entities, and Native Hawaiian organizations, establishes a competitive process to make Grant Funds available to Native Entities to carry out activities consistent with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

- Applications submitted online through the Grants.gov system must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on September 17, 2026;
- Applications submitted by postal mail or by courier service must be postmarked (for postal mail) or show clear evidence of mailing (for courier submissions) no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on September 17, 2026; and
- Applications submitted by electronic mail must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on September 17, 2026.

This webinar will provide guidance to applicants preparing to apply for the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP) Round 3 and the Native Entities Grant Program (NEGP). It will cover key application requirements, including funding information, eligibility, major program differences, and the materials applicants must submit. The session will help potential applicants understand what they need to prepare and how to successfully submit applications for one or both programs.
Grants Administration 101

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) will host a public webinar to provide an overview of grants administration for applicants and recipients of the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP) Round 3 and the Native Entities Grant Program (NEGP). The webinar will review the federal grant lifecycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout activities. It will also cover common grants administration topics, including policies and procedures, monitoring and oversight, reporting requirements, and applicant preparation.
The webinar is intended to help applicants and recipients better understand the responsibilities associated with managing federal grant awards and complying with applicable statutory, regulatory, and administrative requirements.

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) will host a public webinar to provide guidance to applicants for the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP) Round 3 and the Native Entities Grant Program (NEGP) on the required registrations needed before submitting an application for federal funding. The webinar will review the registration process for SAM.gov, eRA Commons, and Grants.gov. The webinar will also highlight key steps applicants should take early to help avoid delays and ensure they are prepared to submit a complete application.
