Project Purpose/Type:
The Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project proposes to install fiber directly connecting 600 unserved Native American households with fiber to the home service of 1 Gbps symmetrical and 50/10 Mbps wireless service.

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to, and use of, broadband services among Tribal members:
- Install 13.54 miles of fiber both under- and above-ground.
- Construct 3 cell towers.
- Ensure all construction adheres to engineering, permitting, and site work regulations.
This project will:
- Connect 600 Tribal households located in 5 Pueblo Housing Service areas including: Guachupangue, Main Village, East, West, and South with reliable, high-speed, affordable Internet service.
- Increase and expand economic development opportunities.
- Improve public safety by providing first responders with improved quality coverage, clearer communications, and communication redundancy.
The project intends to benefit: Tribal residents, employers and employees, first responders, job seekers, and entrepreneurs.
